Gen3 seeks a Program Manager to support the IRS Cybersecurity Information Protection Enhancement Controls (CIPEC) data inventory and tagging initiative. The Program Manager will provide strategic oversight, executive-level reporting, PMO governance, and cross-functional coordination across hybrid multi-cloud cybersecurity modernization efforts, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust federal mandates, IRS cybersecurity policy, and enterprise data protection priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead program management activities across all data inventory and tagging tasks, deliverables, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
- Conduct project kick-off, prepare monthly status reports, and maintain the Project Management Plan and Quality Control Plan.
- Oversee governance structures, strategic communications, stakeholder management, readiness assessments, and program risk evaluation.
- Coordinate cross-agency Zero Trust maturity assessments and alignment with OMB, CISA, NIST, Treasury, and IRS security frameworks.
- Manage reporting, dashboards, program health assessments, acquisition support, roadmap development, and audit readiness support.
- Ensure DIT integration with CIPEC tools, enterprise architecture, and IRS strategic cybersecurity initiatives.
- Bachelor of Science or engineering in computer science, and/or related fields.
- 10+ years IT/cybersecurity Program Manager experience managing large federal programs.
- PMP certification
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust architectures, data loss prevention, data inventory and tagging, cloud security, and IRS Internal Revenue Manual (IRM) policies.
- Experience leading multi-cloud, multi-vendor technical programs.
