Cybersecurity Project Manager – Security Control Assessments (SCA)

About the role:
Gen3 seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager - SCA to support our federal clients. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with Information Security Officers and Managers, be well versed and experienced in NIST RMF and CSF, and will hold at least one professional certification. He/she will bring combined cybersecurity and project delivery expertise to help our clients improve their SCA processes and outcomes. Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact between the client team and the Gen3 team, managing workload, deliverable quality, assessment schedules, etc.
Note: This is a remote position.
Experience and Education:
- REQUIRED: Experience supporting federal clients
- REQUIRED: 10 years or more of progressively responsible experience in information technology project management, systems analysis, and systems integration in large-scale or mission-critical environments.
- REQUIRED: At least 5 years must be in a lead or supervisory capacity, managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing the full lifecycle of complex IT initiatives.
- REQUIRED: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- REQUIRED: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification or equivalent.
- REQUIRED: Previous experience supporting a federal government Agency/Department
- DESIRED: ITIL, Agile (Scrum Master/SAFe), or DAWIA Level III PM certifications
- DESIRED: Current or recent staff-like access at Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
